My rotten teeth

Okay, I don't mean that literally. That sounds pretty gross. I just mean my rotten luck with some crappy, crummy, unlucky teeth. Here I thought I was in the clear... got that root canal done, everything's good. I was just waiting to get into our new fall routine and then make a couple of dentist appointments for check-ups for both Savannah and me. Well the other night my mouth apparently decided it couldn't wait. I just started having this constant pain (on the opposite side of my mouth than the root canal I just had done) that quickly got worse and worse. I mean in a matter of less than 24 hours it was unbearable. Last night I was miserable. I don't think I got any sleep until maybe about 3am. I finally broke down and took 2 vicodin (left over from my kidney stones. Can you believe I never had to take any pain relievers for the root canal, the kidney stones, or the outpatient surgery... but now my mouth was killing me!!)at about 1am. But it didn't help the pain. I couldn't believe it. I think I finally feel asleep just out of a combination of exhaustion and the vicodin helping to knock me out. So I go in today and he says it's my stupid wisdom tooth that's causing me all this pain. My stupid wisdom tooth that until now, every dentist has said doesn't look like it'll bother me. So I'm supposed to have both wisdom teeth on my right side taken out. And the soonest appointment I could get with the oral surgeon is not for a whole week. Did I mention how much this is hurting me now?!? Good thing I still have all those prescriptions from all my other ordeals.

Please tell me this is the end of dealing with these huge dental issues.
Seriously, I feel like I've been to more dentists and doctors and hospitals in the three-and-a-half months we've lived here than I have in the last 10 years. Give me a break already!

Heather, I am so sorry that you are in soo much pain. Believe me I know how you feel.I have had more than my share of dental emergencies. Hopefully this WILL be the end of it.Be carefull though on the pain pills. I almost hate taking that stuff, more than I hate the pain.Wish I could be there to help!XOXO Mom

Hello Heather, I am sorry to hear you are having such trouble with your teeth. My wisdom teeth never came in and my dentist tells me that they shouldn't be a problem. I guess we will see.

Nicole told me about game night. Jade and I are excited. Have a great weekend. Leslie
