brrrr...

Yesterday, during Savannah's swim lessons, it was not quite 70 degrees and sprinkling here and there. She was pretty comfortable in the water, but getting out, drying off and getting to the car was a bit chilly. All us adults were reassuring all the kids that it would be "warmer tomorrow... the weather man said it's supposed to be sunny and warmer!"
Well the weather man apparently changed his mind, because the forecast went from sunny and 80 to, well... not so much. It's currently 55 degrees, breezy and quite cloudy this afternoon. I just went out to get the mail; I'm wearing jean capris and a long sleeved shirt and I was freezing! (not that that stopped me from grabbing an ice cream sandwich when I came in on my way through the kitchen to the couch... yum and brrr!)
It's like now that it's June, someone decided, "oh yeah, we skipped the spring weather this year and jumped right into the 90 degree humid heat for the last couple of weeks... Oops, let's back up a bit and make sure we get that cooler wet weather in now... now that it's supposed to be summer!"

Well, hopefully we stay on track for what was the rest of the week's forecast... warmer with sunshine please! Otherwise Savannah is going to be hating life with swim lessons in an outdoor pool for the next two weeks...
